Engine Repair in Lyons Corner, MD

Engine Repair in Lyons Corner

We arrange engine work through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Lyons Corner. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How we help

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Small things that help

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
