Engine Repair in Mapleton

Engine Repair: how we help

CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For engine work in Mapleton, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

The steps

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

A car while yours is in the shop

Keep moving with a rental while your car is at the shop, by the day at our usual rates. Keep commuting, shopping and visiting while your car is at the shop. Skip the delivery fee by picking the car up from us.

Between shop visits

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
