Engine Repair in May, MO

Getting it done

If you need engine work in May: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How we help

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

What to ask

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
