Engine Repair in Mostyn, TX

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Mostyn is about 2,088 km away. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

The steps

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Between shop visits

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
