Engine Repair in Okaton, SD

Engine Repair in Okaton

Engine Repair in Okaton: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

What CarmaCars does here

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

What to ask

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Good habits for your car

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
