Engine Repair in Pine Point, NT

Getting it done

Searching for engine repair in Pine Point? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our shops are in the Toronto area. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Our part and the shop's part

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Between shop visits

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
