Engine Repair in Plainview, VA

Arranging the work in Plainview

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Plainview is about 718 km away. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How the request works

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

A short checklist

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Good habits for your car

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
