Engine Repair in Plummer, IN

Arranging the work in Plummer

We arrange engine work through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Plummer. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How the request works

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Talking to the shop

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Between shop visits

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
