Engine Repair in Prentice-Sinclair, IL

Arranging the work in Prentice-Sinclair

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Prentice-Sinclair. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How the arrangement works

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.

Good habits for your car

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
