What CarmaCars does here

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Talking to the shop

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Small things that help

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
