Engine Repair in Selwin, NC

Engine Repair: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Selwin is about 856 km away. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

What CarmaCars does here

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Small things that help

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Honest about Selwin

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Selwin. About 856 km in a straight line separate Selwin from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. If we do not know a shop in Selwin, we say so rather than guess. A request about Selwin gets an honest answer from a person. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
