Engine Repair in Seven Devils, NC

Arranging the work in Seven Devils

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Seven Devils. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Our part and the shop's part

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Your request reaches a person, not a machine.

What to ask

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
