Engine Repair in Smith Corner, CA

Engine Repair: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Smith Corner is about 3,512 km away. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How we help

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Car care, briefly

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
