Engine Repair in Stephens, MO

Engine Repair: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Stephens is about 1,203 km away. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Our part and the shop's part

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. A person replies within one business day.

Good habits for your car

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
