Engine Repair in Stringer, OH

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Stringer. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How we help

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Distance, honestly

There is no CarmaCars location in Stringer; everything we do starts in Toronto. Stringer is about 408 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. We know shops around Toronto best; for Stringer, we say plainly what we can do. If you still want to ask about Stringer, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
