Engine Repair in Stringtown, IN

Engine Repair in Stringtown

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Stringtown. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What CarmaCars does here

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Stringtown is outside the area we serve. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Stringtown is about 692 km out.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Stringtown, we say plainly what we can do. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there.
