Engine Repair in Sumach, MO

Engine Repair in Sumach

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Sumach. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Who does what

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Between shop visits

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
