Engine Repair in Thrums, BC

Arranging the work in Thrums

Engine Repair in Thrums: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Who does what

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
