Engine Repair in Travers, MO

Arranging the work in Travers

If you need engine work in Travers: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Our part and the shop's part

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person replies within one business day. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
