Engine Repair in Vale, CA

Getting it done

We arrange engine work through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Vale. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Our part and the shop's part

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

What to ask

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Vale is outside the area we serve. Vale lies about 3,577 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Vale, we say plainly what we can do. If we do not know a shop in Vale, we say so rather than guess. Tell us what you need in Vale, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
