Engine Repair in Viewpoint, AB

Arranging the work in Viewpoint

We arrange engine work through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Viewpoint. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

The steps

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Good habits for your car

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
