Engine Repair in Windham, CT

Engine Repair: how we help

Engine Repair in Windham: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Our part and the shop's part

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

A short checklist

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
