Mechanic in Appleton, MO

Mechanic: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,370 km from Appleton, and does not do this work itself. In short: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

Our part and the shop's part

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. A person replies within one business day. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Small things that help

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Before you plan

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Appleton is outside our area. Appleton is about 1,370 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 80 km.

Your move

One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
