Mechanic in Halcomb, NB

Mechanic: how we help

Mechanic in Halcomb: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.

Who does what

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Before you plan around us
