Mechanic in Iris, CA

Mechanic near Iris

We arrange mechanical repairs or maintenance through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Iris. What this is: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Regular maintenance keeps small problems from turning into large ones.

How we help

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Car care, briefly

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Questions to ask the shop

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

If we do not know a shop in Iris, we say so rather than guess. Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. Still have a question about Iris? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
