What CarmaCars does here

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Car care, briefly

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Talking to the shop

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
