Mechanic in Mohawk, CA

Mechanic near Mohawk

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,423 km from Mohawk, and does not do this work itself. In short: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.

The steps

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Car care, briefly

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
