Mechanic in Pineview, NC

Mechanic: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 940 km from Pineview, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

From request to repair

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

A short checklist

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Car care, briefly

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Our area

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Pineview. About 940 km from our location in Toronto, Pineview is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If we do not know a shop in Pineview, we say so rather than guess. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. Ask us about Pineview in a request; a person answers honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Still deciding?

Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
