Oil Change in Mapleton, KS

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Mapleton is about 1,457 km away. What it involves: An oil and filter change, done by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. The right oil grade for your engine is in the owner's manual.

How we help

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Car care, briefly

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
