Safety Certificate in Millstream, BC

Safety Certificate: how we help

Safety Certificate in Millstream: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. A Safety Standards Certificate, needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy, issued by a licensed Motor Vehicle Inspection Station we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.

What we arrange

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Where CarmaCars works
