Safety Certificate in Quick, BC

Getting it done

We arrange a safety certificate through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Quick. The job: A Safety Standards Certificate, needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy, issued by a licensed Motor Vehicle Inspection Station we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.

How the arrangement works

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Talking to the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

About distance

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Quick. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Quick is about 3,587 km away.

For a breakdown in Quick, a local service will reach you faster than we can. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Quick if you like. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
