Towing in Abrams, WI

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 709 km from Abrams, and does not do this work itself. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

The steps

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Car care, briefly

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
