Towing in Ayers

Towing in Ayers: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

How the arrangement works

A person replies within one business day. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Getting a clear quote

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Between shop visits

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
