Towing in Case Settlement, NB

Towing in Case Settlement

Towing in Case Settlement: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

Who does what

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

A short checklist

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
