Towing in Chip, NC

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 966 km from Chip, and does not do this work itself. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

The steps

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Before the shop starts

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Between shop visits

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
