Towing in Clayroot, NC

Arranging the work in Clayroot

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Clayroot. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

What we arrange

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Between shop visits

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
