Towing in Davis, SD

Arranging the work in Davis

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Davis is about 1,428 km away. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How we help

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
