Towing in El Risco, State of Mexico

Getting it done

Towing in El Risco: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

Who does what

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Good habits for your car

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
