Towing in Floyd, CA

Towing: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Floyd is about 3,507 km away. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

Who does what

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Between shop visits

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Before the shop starts

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Before you plan around us
