Towing in Helm Corner, CA

Arranging the work in Helm Corner

If you need a tow in Helm Corner: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

From request to repair

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Small things that help

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
