Towing in Hoffman, MD

Towing near Hoffman

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Hoffman. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

How the arrangement works

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Good habits for your car

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.

Distance, honestly

Hoffman is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. About 459 km in a straight line separate Hoffman from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Hoffman, we say plainly what we can do. If we do not know a shop in Hoffman, we say so rather than guess. A request about Hoffman gets an honest answer from a person. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Next step
