Towing for Hoffman
Towing in Hoffman: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.
Our part and the shop's part
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.
Small things that help
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
What to ask
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
