Towing in Lacy, SD

Towing in Lacy

Towing in Lacy: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

Who does what

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Small things that help

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

What to ask

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

About distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Lacy. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Lacy is about 1,708 km away.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For work in Lacy, ask in a request and we tell you honestly whether we know a shop there. Send a request about Lacy, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Questions first?

Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
