Towing in L'Amable

Getting it done

For a tow, CarmaCars sits in the middle: we arrange the work with a trusted shop and rent you a car while yours is in. Plainly: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

How the arrangement works

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Stay on the road

A rental keeps the school run and the commute on track. A rental bridges the days your car is at the shop. Prefer to collect it? Pickup at our Toronto location is free.

Questions to ask the shop

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Between shop visits

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
