Towing in Makepeace, AB

Towing: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 2,611 km from Makepeace, and does not do this work itself. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

How we help

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

Good habits for your car

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

A short checklist

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
