Towing in Mapleton, NC

Towing: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 837 km from Mapleton, and does not do this work itself. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

Our part and the shop's part

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

A note on distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Mapleton. With Mapleton about 837 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Mapleton, we say plainly what we can do. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
