Towing in Mount Upton, NY

Getting it done

For a tow in Mount Upton, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. In short: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

Who does what

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
