Towing in Shellsburg, IA

Towing: how we help

For a tow in Shellsburg, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

What to send us

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Small things that help

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
