Towing in Smith, MD

Arranging the work in Smith

If you need a tow in Smith: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

How we help

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Good habits for your car

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
