Towing in Solimar, PR

Towing for Solimar

For a tow in Solimar, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. In short: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

From request to repair

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

A short checklist

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

The short answer for Solimar

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Solimar. Solimar is about 3,093 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For a breakdown in Solimar, a local service will reach you faster than we can. Unsure? Send a request about Solimar, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
